Hey Ellie, I’m a little confused by the question as well because every time I tried it, i just got 0. But this is my working:
2/3c=1/5c

Hey Ellie, I’m a little confused by the question as well because every time I tried it, i just got 0. But this is my working:
2/3c=1/5c
First I cross multiplied the fractions which you can do because they are equal. So you multiply the numerator of one by the denominator of the other and vice versa and you get
10c=3c.
Then subtract 3c from both sides you get
7c=0
Divide both sides by 7 and c=0
Hope this helps a little bit!
